Do I need to make a reservation?

Reservations for up to 10 guests are strongly encouraged and only accepted online. We also accept walk-in guests at the in our bar and lounge, based on availability.

A valid credit card is required to secure your reservation. Online reservations can be made six weeks in advance.

What is your cancellation policy?

Standard reservations may be canceled up to 24 hours in advance without penalty. Late cancellation may be subject to a fee. No-shows are subject to a cancellation fee of $25/person for dinner.

Special occasion reservations — such as Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, New Year’s Eve, etc. — may have different cancellation policies and higher penalty fees.

Can you accommodate large parties (10 guests or more)?

We are able to accommodate tables of up to 10 guests in our main dining room. Please note that all available reservations are listed on OpenTable. If you are unable to find your preferred reservation time, please consider selecting another time.

Auto Gratuity

When dining with groups of 6 or more, guests will be charged an automatic gratuity of 20%.

Can I request a table near the window?

Tables by the window are seated on a first-come, first-served basis at the time of your reservation. We’re happy to put a note in your reservation, however, we are unable to guarantee a window seat due to the high volume of requests. On busier evenings, window tables are typically full by 5:30pm.

Seating Duration

During our dinner service, guests will have the following time allotments to enjoy their meals:

1-2 guests: 2h 15min
3-4 guests: 2h 30min
5+ guests: 3h

Is the restaurant accessible?

Entrance/Interior

Some areas of the dining room are not wheelchair accessible; however, alternative wheelchair-accessible seating is available.

Washrooms

A designated accessible washroom with an automatic door opener is available.

Please communicate your needs to us in advance so that we can assign the most suitable table.

Do you have parking?

Paid underground parking is available off of Wellington St., west of Spadina. Aera parking is located on P3, on the east end of the parking garage. Once on the ground floor, take the guest elevators in the lobby of 8 Spadina to the 38th floor.

Do you allow guests to bring a cake?

Yes! Our cake plating fee is $15 per person. This includes presentation, cutting, and plating of the cake.

What is your corkage fee?

Our corkage fee is $65 per 750mL bottle.

Note: Maximum allowance of one 750mL bottle per two guests.

Do you allow floral arrangements?

Guests are welcome to bring floral arrangements for the table and/or have florists deliver flowers prior to arrival.

Do you allow balloons?

Balloons are not permitted in the dining room.

Do you offer halal menu options?

We are able to provide halal options with minimum seven business days’ notice.

Do you offer kosher menu options?

Guests who observe kosher are welcome to purchase food via a third party vendor and have it delivered to Aera. There will be a $15 per course plating fee.

Do you have a dress code?

Business or smart casual attire is suggested.

Are children allowed in the restaurant?

Children are welcome in the restaurant. Please note that they need to be included in the overall size of the party when booking your reservation.

Are strollers allowed in the restaurant?

We cannot accommodate strollers. We suggest that babies be brought along in a mobile car seat, which can be placed on a chair at the table. We can provide high chairs, but as space is limited, please contact us to ensure that we have a high chair available and a table large enough to accommodate it.

Do you have a children's menu?

We do not have a children’s menu available at the restaurant.

Do you allow service animals?

We welcome people with disabilities who are accompanied by a service animal on parts of the premises open to the public. When we cannot easily identify that an animal is a service animal, our staff may ask for documentation from a regulated health professional.

Join us Saturday and Sunday from 11:30am–2:30pm and enjoy a late-morning meal above the clouds.
